Product and Customisation

7 Questions
What can I print on the barrier belt? +
Virtually anything: your logo, corporate colors, text, safety messages, pictograms, QR codes, and even photographs. The print is high-definition across 100% of the belt’s surface. There are no restrictions on colors or design complexity.
In what format should I send my design? +
We accept files in PDF, AI, EPS, SVG (vector preferred), as well as high-resolution PNG, JPG, and TIFF (minimum 300 dpi). If you don’t have a design ready, our team can create one based on your logo and color and text specifications.
Can I use specific Pantone colors? +
Yes. We work with Pantone references to ensure brand colour accuracy. Please include Pantone codes in your order for exact colour reproduction. We can also work with CMYK or RAL references if you prefer.
What belt lengths are available? +
We offer belts in standard lengths of 3, 6, and 9 meters. With the DOUBLE post (two cassettes on a single post), you can reach up to 18 linear meters from a single point, ideal for large industrial facilities and logistics warehouses. Check out the full range on our Products page.
Can I request a sample before placing a large order? +
Of course. We manufacture starting from a single unit, so you can order a single barrier with customised belts to verify colors, design, and quality before placing a larger order. The process and quality are exactly the same regardless of quantity.
Can I change the belt later without replacing the entire post? +
Yes. The belt is interchangeable on all our models. Replacement takes less than 2 minutes without special tools. This allows you to update the design, change safety messages, or replace worn-out belts without replacing the entire post. We have a video tutorial in the downloads center.
What is progressive braking? +
It is our patented impact damping system in the retraction mechanism. It absorbs accidental shocks when the belt is released abruptly, protecting both the internal mechanism and the printed belt. Tested for over 125,000 continuous cycles without degradation. More details in the technology section.

How to order Dsafety

6 questions
Does Dsafety sell directly to end customers? +
No. Dsafety™ is sold exclusively through industrial and PPE distribution channels. We do not sell directly to end customers, whether online, on marketplaces, or for projects. If you are an end user or specifier, contact the distributor in your province via the distributors page.
How do I become an official Dsafety distributor? +
Apply via the "Become a Distributor" section at /distribut or contact us through the form, indicating "Distribution / Resale." We are seeking industrial and PPE distributors with an established presence in their province. Our industrial sales manager will contact you to assess your suitability and discuss terms.
Is there exclusivity by province? +
Yes. We assign one main distributor per province to protect the commercial investment. Coverage may be expanded to the autonomous community or nationwide depending on volume and logistics capacity. Exclusivity terms are agreed upon on a case-by-case basis in the distribution contract.
What commercial terms do you offer to the channel? +
We work with protected distributor pricing, margins consistent with the commercial investment, and progressive discounts based on annual volume. No minimum initial order required to open an account. Payment terms for companies with an open account and a track record. Detailed terms are sent after the first sales meeting.
What support does the distributor receive? +
Complete brand kit: catalogues, technical data sheets, professional photography, banners for the distributor’s website, editable content for their sales team, product training for the distributor’s technical team, and direct technical support from the factory. We also work with you on industry-specific sales scripts (logistics, ESD, LOTO, electric vehicles) for consultative selling.
How is tape customisation managed for the distributor? +
The distributor collects the end customer’s specifications (logo, message, Pantone colors) and sends us the artwork. We validate digital print proofs before manufacturing. No high minimum order quantity for industrial customisation—starting from 1 unit for samples and 10 units for production runs. Lead times begin upon approval of the artwork.

Shipping and Lead Times

5 questions
Which countries do you send to? +
We send throughout the European Union and to the United Kingdom. Our main markets are Spain, France, Italy, Portugal, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Austria, and Switzerland. For other destinations, please contact us and we’ll find a solution.
What is the delivery time? +
For in-stock products without customisation: 2–4 business days. For orders with customised belts: 5–10 business days from design approval. Delivery times may vary slightly depending on the destination country and the complexity of the order.
How much does sending cost? +
The cost depends on the destination country, weight, and volume of the order. Mainland Spain has a reduced rate. For the rest of Europe, we calculate shipping costs in each quotation. For orders exceeding a certain volume, shipping may be free—please contact us.
Can I track my order? +
Yes. Once the order leaves the warehouse, I’ll send you the carrier’s tracking number. You’ll be able to track the shipment in real time until delivery.
Do you offer expedited shipping? +
Yes, upon request. We offer 24–48-hour express shipping options for most European destinations. The additional cost depends on the destination and weight. Contact us and we’ll prioritize your request.

Assembly and Maintenance

5 questions
Do the posts require installation or are they ready to use? +
It depends on the model. Posts with a weighted base come ready to place on the ground without any installation. Posts with fixed anchors need to be screwed into the ground—we include the hardware and instructions. Installation is simple and does not require specialized personnel.
How do you change the belt? +
Replacing it is very simple: remove the top cap from the post, take out the belt cassette, and replace it with the new one. It takes less than 2 minutes and requires no special tools. We have a step-by-step video tutorial in our downloads center.
Can it be mounted on the wall instead of on the floor? +
Yes. We offer a wall mount that allows the retractable system to be attached directly to the wall. It’s ideal for hallways, entrances, and areas where you don’t want to take up floor space. We include a drilling template and assembly instructions.
What maintenance do the barriers require? +
Very little. We recommend periodically cleaning the belt with a damp cloth and performing a visual inspection of the mechanism every 6 months under heavy use. The progressive braking system minimizes mechanical wear. In practice, our barriers operate for years without requiring any intervention.
Do you sell replacement parts? +
Yes. We have spare parts for belts, cassettes, caps, bases, and any individual component. It is not necessary to replace the entire barrier if only one part needs to be replaced. Contact us with the model and shipping details for the requested spare part.

Regulations and warranties

5 questions
Are the barriers CE certified? +
Yes. All our products comply with the CE Directive, and we have the corresponding declaration of conformity. You can download it from our download center once you have registered.
Do they comply with the REACH and RoHS regulations? +
Yes. Since we manufacture entirely within the European Union, we comply from the outset with the REACH Regulation (registration of chemical substances) and the RoHS Directive (restriction of hazardous substances). Material traceability is complete and verifiable.
What is the product warranty? +
We offer a 2-year warranty on all our products, covering manufacturing defects in both the post and the retraction mechanism. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear of the belt or damage due to misuse. For companies with supply agreements, we can offer extended terms.
What is the return policy? +
For standard products (without customisation), we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in their original packaging and unused. Customised products cannot be returned unless there is a manufacturing defect, as they are manufactured specifically for each customer. See the full terms and conditions in our legal notice.
Are the materials recycled? +
Yes. The base of the post is manufactured in Barcelona using 100% recycled materials. This is part of our manufacturing model and circular economy. We hold environmental certification, which you can download from our download center. More information is available on our European manufacturing page.
